South Indian Model United Nations (SIMUN) is an annual conference that hopes to inspire today’s youth to think, discuss and collaborate to tackle the pressing issues of the world. As an event that has been running for several years now, SIMUN is a forum to hone your diplomatic skills, refine your knowledge, all while making memories to cherish for long.
The conference, following UNA-USA procedure, discusses various global issues which explore the theme of “Navigating a Changing World”. Be it climate change or data security; modern problems call for modern solutions – ones that incorporate innovation with diplomacy. Through this iteration, we hope to encourage young minds to reimagine a future which stands by the goal of the UN – Peace & Unity.
